summit 8 Reasons we love Roseville

1: Corridors and open spaces

As an example of intelligent development planning, Roseville provides an extensive network of trails for its residents. Each new development adds and connects to a paved trail system like a never ending jigsaw puzzle. Shared by cyclists, walkers, and nature lovers, the trails that weave throughout the city effectively bring together the many neighborhoods, parks, and open spaces. Well done Roseville!

open spaces

Great egrets, flocks of turkeys, goats, and other resident animals depend on the Roseville open space for their existence. Spring ponds and streams help nourish open spaces and provide food and a home for our critter friends. Spend a little time here and you will definitely get a visit. Dawn and dusk are the perfect time to spot animals or to catch the beautiful California sunset.

2: City services

Roseville is the only full-service city in the area and among the elite group in all of California. Residents enjoy an exceptionally well cared for and well maintained community and evidence of immaculate local parks, open spaces and communal spaces. They also have safer, more reliable and less expensive electricity! In our personal experiences, we have witnessed a city that is more responsive to its citizens than most societies. This is not very common. Glory!

3: the weather

We love the heat of summer, the evening chill of fall nights, the mild rains of winter, and the colors of spring. The weather in the Roseville area is consistent and often predictable year after year, and it’s amazing on many fronts. If warm sunshine is your thing and bad weather conditions aren’t, Roseville is your place.

Whether it’s a simple morning hike in the Sierra Nevada hills, a day trip to the San Francisco Bay Area or a more expansive excursion, the Roseville location provides a centrally located home base. Quick round-trip access to Sacramento Airport is a plus. Locals love to travel and the Roseville location is definitely in a nice place!

6: The public school system

In our experience, from elementary and middle schools to high schools, we have found that the Roseville public school system is staffed and run by many outstanding individuals. We have explored a culture of integrity and inclusivity. We have also tested model programs for people with disabilities and people with special needs. We have seen interest and acceptance flow through the student body in their interactions. Cheers for Cooley Middle School and Woodcreek High! How a community treats the marginalized remains one of the true signs of what constitutes a great community.
