Aemond Targaryen’s Fate On ‘House Of The Dragon’ Is Full Of Revenge In The Book

spoilers ahead for fire and blood the book. The Dragon House Episode 6, The Time Leap, saw many characters transform into new actors (Hello, Olivia Cooke and Emma Darcy Like adults Aliscent and Rhinera!). And of course, some characters made their debut too – including masks and son of Aliscent III, Eamond Targaryen. Young Prince is currently playing Leo Ashton, although we know Ewan Mitchell will eventually play the older version of Aemond, per HBO. So expect another jump sometime in the near future.

Regardless of who he plays with, what will change for Emond while he plays Dragon House Being? Well, quite a lot! Here’s everything you need to know about what happens to Eamond Targaryen in the book fire and blood that Dragon House Based on.

As you can already see on Dragon House Aemond really wants a dragon, and he’s gotten a lot of ridicule because of it, he’s even been tricked into a pig dressed up as a dragon (which is kind of funny). Aemond’s desire to be a dragon rider is so strong that he risks everything in it fire and blood He tries Mount Vhagar as his own. As we just saw in Episode 6, Vhagar – “Queen of all dragons” – Now she’s no passengers after she killed Lina (on request!) in childbirth.

In the process of trying to claim the Vhagar, Aemond encounters his nephews – who, you’ll remember from the pig joke, aren’t exactly his best friends. Aemond eventually succeeds in getting Vhagar, but a fight breaks out and Lucerys’s eye is cut off in the next violent skirmish. He became known as Aemond One-Eye, but at least, he now finally had a dragon.

When Alicent finds out, she wants to enact an eye-for-an-eye punishment (literally), but Lucerys is eventually saved. But this is not the end of the tension between families. In fact, later in the Dragon Dance (More spoilers to come!)And the Aemond eventually kills Lucerys – well, Daemon doesn’t let that slip on Rhaenyra’s behalf. The two clash in a dragon duel that ends with a demon fatally stabbing Aemond… in the eye.

But going back to the present – precisely, when will Aemond lose his eye and become a dragon rider The house of the dragon? Very soon, it seems. Episode 7 Trailer He sees Aliscent saying “there’s a debt to be paid”, and announces a stolen Vagar. Plus, Episode 6 has already sowed the seeds of Aemond’s fate in a sneaky way. When he complains to his mom about being pranked, Aliscent promises he’ll “get a dragon someday.” Immediately after that, Aemond’s sister, Helaena, said, “You have to lose your eye.” She’s not even talking to Aemond, but to the creepy little reptile in her hand – but still! A clever nod to the events that are about to unfold.
