Health authorities in Bangladesh have reported three additional Nipah virus cases, including two additional deaths, according to a recent report.

This is up from the 11 cases and 8 deaths reported Just over two weeks ago.

According to the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) in Dhaka, from January 2023 to March 4, 2023, a total of 14 Nipah cases have been identified through surveillance.
