Cardinals’ Marquise Brown lands on IR as DeAndre Hopkins returns vs. Saints

The Cardinal would clearly love both receivers on the field for Murray to work with, but Hopkins will now have to step in and produce like Brown despite the team’s 2-4 record to start the year.

Brown has scored three touchdown points, two in his last three games, while he has led the Cardinals in receiving yards with 485 and 43 receptions this season.

This is Brown’s first season with Arizona after being traded before Baltimore Ravens During the 2022 NFL Draft. It came after Brown posted his first 1,000-yard season with Baltimore, hitting 91 balls with three touchdowns from Lamar Jackson.

As for HopkinsHe’s looking to hit the ground running fast and should stand a chance with Brown sidelined. Murray and Hopkins developed strong chemistry during the 2020 season, when Hopkins was a bowler pro. He had 1,407 yards in 115 hits with six touchdowns.
