Christmas Tree Farms in Apple Hill
Camino, California – Pictures of golden vineyards, scarlet and orange groves and rows of Christmas trees – perfect fall photo backdrops. It’s apple harvest time now and it’s a great time to visit our family farms and get your family ready for the holidays!
Apple Hill Farms Open the weekend after Thanksgiving. Visitors can pick their own tree and, in many places, cut it down themselves, while bakeries and wineries pulse with the holiday spirit.
“There is no better way to create great traditions with your family than to join our families to pick your holiday tree,” said Chris Delfino of Delfino Farms and president of the Apple Hill Growers Association. “Apple Hill has everything to make your vacation festive and memorable. While you’re here, stop by our bakery shops and wineries for delicious pies, baked goods, and wine for your holiday table.”
Festive fun
Many of the bakeries and tasting rooms will be decorated in the spirit of the season. Bring your family and enjoy a cup of hot apple cider and admire the fall leaves while shopping for unique and special gifts.
Many farms produce artisanal products that make great hostess gifts or stocking stuffers. From jams and chutneys to olive oil and sachets of lavender.
Most Apple Hill Growers grow live trees using a practice of allowing a new tree to sprout from the trunk so that cutting down the tree won’t kill it. Trees also benefit the environment by stabilizing soil, absorbing greenhouse gases and emitting oxygen.
Most of our tree farms will open on November 25th and will remain open until Christmas Eve or until we run out.
