Free Folsom Historic District shuttle ride-share app adds convenience to visits

Folsom, California- Folsom Historic District Launched a new ride-sharing app that allows easy access to free visitor transportation in the Folsom Historic District.

The Historic Folsom Shuttle has the familiar look and feel of a traditional on-demand ride-sharing app. The bus operates in the Folsom Historic District every Friday and Saturday evening from 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm and during special events.

Once visitors arrive at the Folsom Historic District and park their cars, they can pull up the app, choose a destination, and receive a shuttle ride. Users are instantly notified of their wait time and can follow their shuttle driver’s location on a map.

Reduce the headache caused by parking

Shuttles are electric, state of the art, enclosed, sleeps six comfortably and have climate control. They allow visitors to significantly reduce the time they spend searching for a nearby parking lot. The app also allows convenient access to information regarding the many businesses and services in the Folsom Historic District.

Visitors should search for and download the “Historic Folsom Shuttle” app on their Apple or Android phone prior to their visit.

Visitors are encouraged to park in the free parking garage located at 905 Leidesdorff Street, or at any of the other free parking areas located throughout the Folsom Historic District. The shuttle is free for visitors, though the bus drivers gladly accept tips.
