The annual family event returns in December
Folsom, CA – This annual family event returns for its 12th year with a popular seasonal cheer! Thousands of bright and colorful lights, twinkling tree ornaments, lit animal figures, and displays transform your zoo getaway with holiday spirit. Local hymn groups and musicians provide the fun sounds of the season.
Folsom Zoo Holiday Lights are open from 5:00-8:30 p.m. on December 2, 3, 9 and 11, and December 16-22 (weather permitting, heavy rain will cancel out). All event proceeds benefit the zoo’s protected animals.

Folsom Zoo Sanctuary
Founded in 1963 to provide a safe haven for a bear cub named Smokey, who was orphaned and burned in a forest fire, Folsom City Zoo Reserve It now provides a safe haven for dozens of rescued wild and domestic animals. It is located at 403 Stafford Street in Folsom City Lions Park.
