La La Land Kind Café is a café with locations in and around Dallas, Texas, and Los Angeles California.
He proudly makes delicious handcrafted drinks – but the café has a much bigger purpose to his business too.
The cafe has a very simple motto: Normalization of kindness.

The company believes that “if we can make a positive impact on all humans who pass through our doors, kindness will spread like wildfire.”
Several users commented on the video, saying they would cry if it happened to them – or that it made people’s day.

The café, however, also has a workers initiative that stands out among the efforts of other companies.
After learning about the number of children who have graduated from the foster care system in age and have problems finding a job, La La Land decided to create a program for foster youth who need jobs.
The company runs a youth sponsorship program at every flagship store in every city – an 8-week program in which young sponsors learn skills to help them succeed in all aspects of life.
During the program, they gain on-the-job training and customer service skills – they also have mentoring experience.

After the program ends, young people can choose their passion and career field they wish to enter.
For the rest of their lives, these young people will be able to accept guidance on employment, housing, education and treatment, according to the We Are One coffee shop project.

The program helps guide youth in the right direction on these fronts.
“At La La Land, our adoptive youth work alongside those with special needs as one family-oriented workplace,” the company says on its website.
“Together, La La Squad creates a welcoming space where everyone can feel like they are part of something bigger than themselves.”
The company also says, “We all believe in second chances, but these guys didn’t even get their first chances.”
He adds, “These are our sons, our sons, our daughters, our brothers and sisters. We are one, America – Let’s start acting like that.”
