“The King was incredibly welcoming to Meghan when she arrived at the scene,” Bolin explained. “The King adores his children, and in particular, he wanted Harry to be happy. He could see how happy Meghan made Harry. And that made the King happy. Incidentally, this also made Camilla very happy. She was very welcome. Meghan too. Royal expert Shannon Felton Spence told Fox News Digital that after the Queen’s death, she wondered if the Sussex family would find a way To mend any cracks.

“I hope her death has allowed the ice to thaw between them and the king,” she said. “But once they get back to their lives in California, it might take the distance again. “When I listened to him, I said to myself, ‘Wow, this guy is so busy,’” said Pullen. “He knows exactly what he’s doing. He knows how to reach the audience, how to engage with the younger generation. He remembered that he was probably in his mid-60s at the time. He’s been pretty much the same on many occasions we’ve worked together, but that was the moment I first discovered his understanding of how to reach people and what he had to do to make it happen. And I think you saw that a lot in his first speech as King. He is loyal to his family, duty, and service. And he wants to make an impact on the world stage.”
