What is your biggest inspiration in life or your job? What do you enjoy most about your work?

Our mission is very rewarding! We get tremendous inspiration from our profession in that we teach a life skill that could save someone’s life or help save someone’s life one day.

At Steve Wallen School of Swimming, we firmly believe that students are born with an innate ability to swim; Therefore, we highly recommend introducing water to babies at an early age. From our experience, we have found that students who start swimming lessons for children at an early age tend to get into the water faster as well as learn to enjoy and respect the water more.

Tell us a funny story about your work?

At SWSS, our whole focus is on the customer experience. of the Ribbon and Tootsie menus program to help motivate students for first-class customer service. Not only do we teach swimming lessons and swimming skills, but we also create a fun and positive atmosphere where our clients look forward to visiting. :-). As many of our students know, water in SWSS is magic! Mr. Steve can sometimes be seen during lessons adding more “magic water” to the pool to help motivate the students.
