RJUHSD Superintendent Update for January 2023

Tips and reminders for the new semester

Roseville, CA – Hello, 2023! What a gift it is to have a new year and a clean slate. I hope students, staff and their families across the region are able to enjoy their holiday season and spend time on what matters most.

My hope this year is to keep the focus on student growth and success in and out of the classroom and spark a love of learning in all students as we approach a new year. I know our teachers and staff are deeply committed, and I hope to see continued inspiration as they help students reach their full potential and create campuses that deliver truly memorable learning experiences for every student.

As the semester gets under way, here are some helpful tips and reminders for everyone.

● Registration for new students 2023-2024 is already underway! If you need to enroll your student in their freshman year, we encourage you to visit this page and get started early. Please check with your child’s school for class enrollment for returning students.

● Let’s cheer on our site RJUHSD athletes this season! check School website calendar And make plans to attend a game or match for winter sports, which include soccer, wrestling, and basketball.

● Please join us in welcoming two new members to the Board: Marla Franz and Ludmila Karkov. With the five Trustees areas filled, the Board is looking forward to starting a new governance calendar.

● We are fortunate to have seven Student Resource Officers (SROs) on campus five days a week. Each SRO has a dedicated, on-site campus to ensure safety and provide guidance to students.

I am very proud of our district and its achievements in all aspects of student life, and I am confident that 2023 will be one of our best years yet.
