4-stage approach
The Master Plan established a four-phase approach to SWRA development. The first phase of development will focus on an area identified as the hub. This area includes many amenities that the staff and community have identified as a priority, such as a play structure, restrooms, pickleball courts, shaded benches, and more.
The SWRA master plan also included Sunset Boulevard Park, which would be a smaller park with play structures and shaded benches. The board recommended that the veteran’s memorial be included in the first phase of development, and endorsed the master plan.
Staff will continue to involve the Board in the development process and encourage public participation
