A proper return to Roseville
After 20 years of volunteering with TNT and the youth of our community, the Roseville location was a good fit,” said Larry Florence, founding creative director of the Take Note Troupe.
“It’s only fitting since we started doing Shakespeare in the Garden at the Bandstand in Roseville Royer Park years ago. Since then, our growth in the program and additional support from more communities has been great to be a part of,” Florence said. “The most valuable part of all of this is the opportunity to help young people in our community develop positive mental hygiene habits and practice happiness using our methodology in theory Play.”
Take note of the band
Take Note Troupe is a youth development organization dedicated to improving the world’s mental health through cutting-edge productions; game theory workshops, classrooms, and summer camps; and award-winning quotations for Shakespeare. Central to TNT’s programming is play theory, a curriculum based on grammar improvement and cognitive behavioral therapy that teaches participants to be present, to go and play, to accept, to build, and to look outward. TNT changes lives and helps those who apply the principles of game theory choose and share happiness. The Taking Note Troupe is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization staffed primarily by volunteers.
