@the Grounds in Roseville celebrates record-breaking 2022
More than 270 events, 331,000 guests and 12,000 hotel nights
ROSEVILLE, CA – This has been a great year for the events at The Grounds. Youth sports tournaments, consumer shows, business meetings, and conventions can finally take a central place on the court. Reublin Centre.
From national championships for volleyball and basketball to dance, cheerleading, gymnastics, and even wrestling, thousands of young athletes have come to… @employee. The Tri-County Home Show debuted at The Grounds bringing tiny homes, seminars, and plenty of home improvement vendors and attendance to campus.
Other consumer offerings such as Sac Anime, Reptile Nation, and Great Junk Hunt He returned for another successful year. Jones Hall and Johnson Hall have seen increased use throughout the year and the addition of the Attaway Pavilion added in May provides new rentable space and enhances the overall flexibility of the campus.
Through these events, the Grounds and Roebbelen Center have brought over 331,000 attendees to Roseville and the surrounding area. These events affected many local businesses as countless sports teams, convention attendees, and vendors were seen dining, shopping, and enjoying the area’s amenities. The Grounds events have generated more than 12,000 hotel room nights in Roseville, Rocklin and Lincoln.
Placer County Fair
Record Breaking at the 2022 Placer County Fair The 2022 Placer County Fair has been a huge success. Attendance continued to increase post-pandemic numbers in 2021. Revenue numbers beat expectations with Carnival, commercial suppliers and franchisees. The mini cattle auction broke records, reaching 93% of sales through 2021. People came for great entertainment like the All Alaskan Racing Pigs, The Silver Starlets, and Perfection of Wheels BMX Stunt Team. The second annual Rib Cook-Off has been a huge success, with 14 teams competing for the prestigious People’s Choice award. Overall, 2022 has shown that the Placer County Fair has become a “must-go” for people all over the Placer Valley and beyond.
